The Roundtable is advocating for this, with local organizations such as the Food Coalition as well on the government level to support families in succeeding with this mission.

HOUSING
Ensuring that everyone has access to safe affordable adequate housing. Advocating for more Government subsidies and initiatives to be implemented within our community. Housing for all is a basic human right.
Understanding the difference between a housing structure and a home makes all the difference.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Advocating for resources to assist with the mental health and well being of children and youth , proper nutrition and access to safe, quality affordable childcare within our community. Looking at programming for the whole family to continue to support thriving kids.
EMPLOYMENT & EDUCATION
Focusing on Education and skill enhancing programming to ensure employment that will make a difference for individuals and families living on minimal income sources. Educating community partners about Living wage and Basic income plans. Working on resources that wrap around individuals and families to ensure success for future paths to be created.
did you know that Every person has 11 resources within themselves in order to thrive and if one resource falters the others will follow? telling someone to " just go get a job" is defeating the purpose. No one wakes up and chooses poverty. Let's work together as a community to offer a better choice
